The Apostle Peter challenges believers: "… always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence…" (I Peter 3:15). What a great goal, to be obedient to the instructions of our Lord's messenger. Think of the impact on those around you who are seeking answers in a climate of confusion and doubt. As any believer attempts this task, a world of opportunity opens up and "…knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade others". (II Corinthians 5:11).
